We are trying to be more visible; our website and Facebook page will be fully operational and public by June 2020, and we will be providing regular updates.

We plan on starting a Tech Speaker Series to advocate for our club as well as global issues in the ever growing digital world. We will invite technical speakers to share new and emerging ideas on topics related to technology, digital learning and cybersecurity.  The Speaker Series sponsored by our Club would also help raise awareness of our club and more people would recognize Digital Citizens.

We are stepping up our fundraising efforts. We are setting up an external crowdfunding effort as part of our plans to enhance awareness as well as reach out to a large number of friends and partners to raise funds for our Club activities.

Given that online learning has become a norm in these COVID-19 times, we are organizing a series of online lessons in a variety of fields. We are starting off with "Digital Citizens Cook for a Cause" - virtual cooking lessons to share a skill and passion as well as raise funds for the Club's activities.

Club’s overall goals.

1.

Establish a robust connection with the two schools - Anandalaya Public School (APS) Jharkhand, India and Singapore American School (SAS)

2.

Strengthen the computer infrastructure at APS – mobilize at least 50 computers at the school as well as the supporting equipment and facilities

3.

Develop a set of discrete online learning tools customized for APS students

4.

Put in place an initial scholarship program for at least 2 high school students at Anandalaya

5.

Develop a strong sense of community within the club itself and enhance awareness of its activities

6.

Create opportunities to volunteer at both the schools and sustain the community created.

7.

Develop a strong sense of community within the club itself and invite more SAS High School (HS) students to support the cause through direct and indirect service.
