DIGITAL
CITIZENS
Improving access to education by improving access to virtual learning at the Anandalaya Public School, India.
First generation learners need not have access to poor education, more so first generation learners who are drivers of positive change in their society. Bridging this education infrastructure and learning gap is at the heart of the Digital Citizens Service Club.
We are a new service club at the Singapore American School. We aim to empower fellow learners at the Anandalaya Public School in India, with digital connectivity and access to online tools for education.
We have joined hands with the Peoples Institute for Development and Training (PIDT), a registered NGO in New Delhi, to provide us direct support in our endeavour.
COVID-19
and Virtual Learning.
In the context of COVID-19, our mission has become even more meaningful. It has become imperative to support online and virtual learning platforms. The need to improve the IT infrastructure and develop innovative and interactive online learning tools is crucial especially for students with an already limited access to learning.
